Inside the Henn House

Welcome to our blog. We decided it was finally time to get a little more formal than facebook, and share our stories, as well as our expertise, with the people who have been listening.

I'm a mom to two kids, two dogs, two cats, and only one rabbit (Whats up with that?). I'm an extra set of hands and rules to more children than I could count (shoule I say twenty-two for the case of keeping this consistent?). And somehow helping that many families still feels liek I'm not getting all of my good ideas and helpful tips out into the world.

For some of you, I've been watching your kids for their whole lives. I've cried over how big they've gotten when it feels like no time has passed at all. Some of you have watched me grow. I've been in your life, or you've seen me adapt the story-times and sensory box programs as I continue to gain more and more knowledge of best-practices for this stage of child development.

You may have seen us flip-flop 6 times between whether we would hoemschool our children or not (and i'll probably continue to flip-flop. whats that thing about all the eggs in one basket..?) or listened to me grumble about how its so hard to stay home with the kiddos and yet still so hard to leave them to go to work. Finding balance is hard for all of us.

I will still be sharing sensory boxes here, and hope to add to these offerings, as well as advertizing my services & events. If you don't need any of these products or services, but still want to stay and chat in our forum, or browse some of our posts for ideas, we still love that!

We are happy to have you, however you choose to come, for whatever you choose to come, and we can't wait to get to watch your children grow.
