Labor is a defining day for many women. There are many decisions to make, and contingency plans to be written. We will help you get all your ideas down, and organize them in a way that is easy for your medical and support teams to reference.
That being said, postpartum is more than just one day, lasting up to two full years. Those days deserve plans too, and we are happy to help you consider all of the services you may need, the boundaries you may need to set, and how to prepare yourself for what those 730 days might include.
Postpartum Doula Services
A postpartum doula is a great support person to have on your team, because they can take over many other roles in order to give you what is most important to you, and what might be harder to come by otherwise. These duties can include meal-prep, light housecleaning, baby or sibling care, laundry, and pet care. These services are customizable to you, and may look different for every family. We will discuss your needs with you, but all postpartum services will include emotional and tangible support for all family members.
Overnight Postpartum Doula Care
Everything in our postpartum package sounds great, but you feel like the one thing you really need most of all is a good nights sleep? We get it! I've been there too, and the good news is that I want to do it again so you don't have to. With our overnight services, you can sleep well knowing not only am I taking care of your baby, but I'm taking care of your chores while you sleep, therefore taking care of you.
Overnight hours are any between 8pm and 6am. Availability is limited, and fills up quickly.
Sibling Doula
In addition to your needs, any children you have who are now being promoted to older sibling(s) will have their own needs. They may have a lot of questions about what will change, a ton of big feelings to work through, and they may need some adult supervision while you rest, recover, deliver, etc.
Our sibling Doula package makes the needs of any older children our focus. We will use play-based methods to make them feel cherished, and give them opportunities to talk to an adult about any of their big feelings.

If you read all about having an overnight doula and thought "wow that sounds great, but I don't want to get used to it!" we may still be able to offer you a solution. We are working hard to become certified as a sleep consultant, so that we can help you create a plan for the best nights sleep for all members of your family.
